4 Cups - Coffee Time Romance

Ms. Lory has done it again, and written an intriguing sequel in her vampire series. Jacques and Kelly are very strong, emotional characters that I loved reading about. Kelly is a heroine with a lot of feistiness and Jacques makes a very sexy vampire. Some of the secondary characters will capture your interest and hopefully Ms. Lory will be giving them their own stories too.


5 Hearts - The Romance Studio

This was a wonderful, sensuous read! The chemistry between Jacques and Kelly is explosive and felt from the minute they encounter one another after being apart. Kelly's agitation at Jacques's behavior is understandable and funny at times. When the guards are finally let down, both of them experience a love that's very powerful and hard to stop. The sexual scenes are tastefully done and add to the whole romance of the story. The villan of Mussek is nicely fleshed out. He drips of coldness and it comes right off the page at you. The secondary characters leave room for the continuation of this series and I would encourage anyone looking for a great vampire romance series to read all of Ms. Lory's books! 


4 Stars - Long and Short Reviews

I have been a fan of vampire themed books, since before Twilight and the Sookie Stackhouse days, and this book reminds me of why I love the genre. I found I was rooting for Jacques and Kelly to get together in the end almost from the first meeting. Ann Lory really made this a story to get into, and I was sucked in from the beginning and dreaded the end of the book. I would love to see more stories about this band of vampires, maybe even a series to tell the stories of everyone else involved in the gathering of Kelly and Jacques. Ann Lory is an author to watch out for, and would make a great addition to any vampire lovers’ collection.
