Eternal Embrace is a fascinating tale of paranormal love. This is a fast paced action filled tale that will enthrall the readers. Readers will be hooked from the very beginning with the story of love and drawn further in by the action and excitement of danger.
Dimitri is a tortured soul. He hates his desire for blood and he fears for Cassie's safety when she is around. He struggles with his desire and what he thinks is best for Cassie. Here is a man that is willing to sacrifice his only chance at happiness for the woman he loves. He is the man many a woman wants to heal from his loneliness. It is easy to fall in love with this character.
Cassie is no shy wall flower. She knows what she wants and goes after it not knowing the torment that she puts upon Dimitri. The attraction between the two is electrifying. Dimitri denies himself to the point of desperation. When they finally come together it is in an explosion of passion. Wickedly sensual, there is a reason vampires are the basis of many paranormal romance. He will have the readers longing for his bite.
For readers that enjoy the action stories well there is plenty of that also. When Dimitri's wicked sire gets involved all types of chaos takes place. Don't you just love that incredible vampire strength?

ETERNAL EMBRACE is the first book in Ann Lory’s Eternal series. The majority of the story is based on the building of the relationship between the two main characters and the emotions they evoke in one another, but it is well-written and pulled me in almost immediately. The torment and longing felt by Dimitri was described with such passion that I could feel the anguish of his loneliness as I went through the pages. I eagerly await the second part in this highly recommended paranormal series and expect great things from Ann Lory.

Eternal Embrace: Eternal 1 is a sweeping story of love, devotion, and passion that leaps from the pages. This story is so incredibly real I could easily picture Dimitri when his fangs wanted to explode in his mouth when he was near Cassie. Their story, in a way, brought to mind of a Beauty and Beast tale, especially when he didn't want to get out or be around anyone, and others thought him weird. The way Cassie's emotions come to life for Dimitri, I found myself cheering for her to get with him and overcome any problem that crossed their path. I could tell that Dimitri clearly cares deeply for Cassie, and that is what really drew me more into the story. Ann Lory fashions a story that enthralled this reader. The secondary characters jumped in, allowing the story to flow easily. I liked Cassie's dear friend Kelly, as well as Dimitri's manservant Rowlin. I so enjoyed this fascinating and enchanting journey, and look forward to more books in the series.

Ann Lory has woven a beautiful tale of love and hate. I was drawn into her magical world right from the beginning. With characters that I learned to love or hate this story took me on a wonderful ride.
Cassie was a spirited young woman with great loyalty and Dimitri was a great Alpha male who learned to trust and fight for what he wanted. Even to the point of laying his own heart on the line. All the characters in this book stood out on their own; Each one of them so full of depth and courage. I just loved Dimitri’s manservant Rowlin. A great man in his own right Rowlin was always ready to help and loyal to the end. I especially loved the interaction between Rowlin and Cassie. Their friendship came so quickly and easily. I hope that Rowlins gets his own story told soon and I cannot wait to read Jacques story. Of course the villains are just as easy to hate. From the jealousy of both Gabrielle and Craig to their hatred of Dimitri and Cassie they are definitely easy to hate and prove that they are not to be taken lightly. The action in this story was great and at times I found myself getting antsy wondering what would happen next. I would have enjoyed a bit more action myself but all in all this was a good read full of courage and love. I will definitely be looking for more books from this author.

I really loved this story. Once you started it you could not put it down. This story just pulled you in with it and you felt you were one of the characters. You cried when they did and were happy when they were. Ms Lory has a way with the written word that makes you unable to pull yourself away. Ms Lory’s stories have a magical quality about them and I only hope she continues writing for many years to come.

This book kept me enthralled and the portrayal of the two lovers amazes me. The love scenes make your imagination steam. Whew! Plus Ann had blended in a family for Cassie so well in the back ground of the book that you see a complete picture and personality of the character come through. This book gets five roses from this reviewer and a recommended read rating as well. Give us more Ann!
